People for Global Transformation (PGT) is an interdisciplinary group of 15 global thinkers co-chaired by Sam Pitroda and Hubert Védrine. Its prime objective is to help bring about a generational shift in policy thinking to respond to the 21st century challenges and provide innovative policy recommendations. PGT’s members meet at least once a year and include academics, scientists, technologists, practitioners and politicians. The group particularly focuses on the changing geopolitical equations and the transformative potential of technology.
The first meeting of People for Global Transformation (PGT) was held in Mumbai, India, on 28th and 29th of September 2012.
The second meeting of People for Global Transformation (PGT) was held in Paris, France, on 27th and 28th of March 2014.
